Karen Fine Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 16, 2023.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Falk Fine, 59, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend who died June 12, 2023. Karen lived a life that touched the hearts of many. She had a strong, witty personality, was a voracious reader and life-long student, an artist, and a hard-working CPA.

Karen will be dearly missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her children, David (Sarah) Fine, Jordan (Jordan) Fine and Leah Fine. She also leaves behind her mother, Judy Falk and siblings, Julie (Tom) Raske and Nicki (Jim) Woldenberg. Karen is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Falk.

We remember the laughter we shared as we find comfort knowing that she is now at peace. May her memory be for a blessing.

A private memorial service for Karen will be held Tuesday, June 20 at 1pm, at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, Glencoe, IL 60022

I have been friends with Karen since we were children on the play ground of Sherwood school. She was one of the smartest humans I have ever known, not to mention hilarious.
Throughout our lives we have always been friends from school, to raising our children, to living in the city the past few years.
. I will always cherish our memories and miss her forever.
My sincere condolences to her children which I know she was so proud of, her sisters and mother,
My heart goes out to all of her friends that are in mourning.
