Karen George Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 23, 2024.
Karen Anne George, born on June 15, 1947, in Framingham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024, at Carlyle House Nursing Home. She was 77 years old.

Karen is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Nicholas George and his wife Heather of Ashland, MA, and Joseph George of Holliston, MA; her cherished granddaughter, Taylor George of Grafton, MA; and her sisters Judy, Lisa, and Angie, along with their families.

Karen found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved visiting zoos and aquariums, where she could marvel at the beauty of nature and wildlife. At home, she delighted in watching her favorite television shows such as *The Irwins*, *Last Man Standing*, and *The Big Bang Theory* , *The Voice* & *American Idol*. Music was a constant source of happiness for Karen-she enjoyed dancing to the tunes of Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, and other beloved artists.

Karen faced the challenges of stage 5 dementia for the last 3 years with courage and grace and her sons by her side. She spent her final days in hospice care at Carlyle House Nursing Home.

Karen's warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

Karen: The loss of losing you is so devastating! Your smile was infectious! I remember when we were little girls getting up Christmas Day opening our present and watching the tinsel on the tree glisten! Those days have been missed for years and long gone! You certainly are blessed to have your sons, Nikki and Joey. My heart goes out to them. They always made time to visit you all the time, not just during Christmas and Birthdays! And, I know how much you loved them and your family! If only we could go back being little girls! There will always be a void in my heart that no one can fill from the loss of you, my oldest sister, and the loss of my baby sister, less than three years ago. Even though you really didn´t know me at JoJo´s funeral, I am happy that I got to see you and talk to you! I cherished that memory! I hope you are in the most beautiful place watching over everyone, especially Nikki and Joey and their family and celebrating Christmas with mom and dad and everyone else with the tinsel glistening on the tree! I am beyond devastated, I am beyond sad, and I am beyond words.
