Wow I´m just finding this. Mrs. Gill was my art teacher back at Dewey L. Carter. She was an excellent art teacher... boy she could paint... draw... masterfully make anything. She was a very nice lady and a great teacher. She elected me for horizon and had me drawing. I miss her... she brings back good memories that I miss. You are missed dearly Mrs. Gill. God Bless

It was such an awful shock to hear of the passing of Ms. Gill. I too was a student of hers, and now my daughter was one of her students. What a tremndous loss this is to our children and the art community. She was a very talented kind woman who brought joy to many lives over the years. My heart goes out to Phillip and Laura. God Bless you both.

My deepest sympathy to the Gill family. I knew Karen from Highland Park United Methodist Church when our daughters Erica & Laura were in school together. Karen & I were in the choir together. Karen was a lovely lady and I am sorry we lost touch. May she now be at peace with Our Lord.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ms. Gill was my Art Teacher at Dewey L. Carter. She also taught with my mother, Dorothy M. Isom, who passed away in August of 1993. Your mother was thought highly of by many many people. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help. Again, you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Ashley
