Karen Hacker Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 26, 2019.
Karen Hacker
Karen L. Hacker, age 82, passed away in Santa Rosa on May 20, 2019. She was born in Chicago, the only child of Frederick and Annette Hacker, who preceded her in death. Karen was always happiest being surrounded by her animals, especially her horses which she rode for close to 50 years. She worked for United Airlines at SFO for many years which allowed her wonderful travels before retiring to Oakmont. She will be missed by her circle of friends and neighbors. We would like to give special thanks to Chanate Care Home & St Joseph Hospice that gave Karen comfort in her final days.

I was Karen's dental hygienist for many years. I always enjoyed our visits when she came in. I noticed she had not been in for several months. I called her home phone but her number was disconnected. When I looked her name up on the internet I was so saddened to find her obituary. I will miss our little visits very much. She was always very thoughtful and we had so much fun sharing recipes and advice. May she be at peace.

Karen has been like my little sister since 1940. I have been looking for her for the past month. I am unaware of any family but hope she had good friends to be with her at the end.

I loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.
