KAREN LAWSON Obituary
age 51 of Middletown, Ohio, passed away March 1, 2025 at Atrium Medical Center. Karen was a graduate of Middletown High School's class of 1990. She was a hairstylist and a caretaker, and she enjoyed gardening and cooking. Karen found the most joy of all in being a loving Mom to foster and adopted dogs- Kaito, Little momma and Chip.
Karen was proceeded in death by her father, Benton Lawson; mother, Virginia Lawson; and sister, Beth Lawson. She is survived by many, many friends who loved her dearly.
Through the generous gift of tissue donation, Karen will continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Thank you to all of the Critical Care Nurses at Atrium Medical Center for the compassionate care you gave to both Karen and her visiting friends in her final days.
A celebration of life is being planned and the details will be published to Karen's Facebook.

There´s no coincidence that when my daughter turned on the tv this morning Prince was playing! I smiled thinking of all the fun times we had together, dancing, your gorgeous smile and huge bangs!! Even now, 30 plus years later connecting over our love of our dogs, your sweet Chip, and even through hard moments thanks to social media bridging the distance gap. Fly free sweet sister. Karen, I can't even begin to put into words how much I'm going to miss you. Our all night chat sessions, playing in the woodshop, painting stuff, planting flowers and how much you loved the sun painting I made for your garden. All the long days we sat in the basement talking after Allen passed. Our last conversation, we were making plans for you to come visit this spring. I can't believe we're not going to have that or anymore of our good times. Every single time I hear "Delirious", I'm going to think of us screaming/singing the song, cracking up, driving down I-75 in a traffic jam going to Kentucky. I love you my friend
