Karen McNamara

McNAMARA, Karen Karen Marie McNamara, age 62, of Dallas, TX, passed away on July 31, 2022. She was born October 13, 1959, in Dallas, TX, to Edith (Fox) Barton-Martin and Kenneth Kauffman. Karen was an amazing cook and was known as the "Hostess with the Mostess" during holiday gatherings. She was an artist who enjoyed coloring and drawing. Karen had a green thumb and enjoyed horticulture. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. Karen is survived by her daughter: Rachel Williams and husband Chris; grandchild: Maggie Williams; mother: Edith Barton-Martin; brother: Greg Kauffman and wife Martha, sister: Katie Kauffman; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: Ken Kauffman, Sr.; brother: Ken Kauffman, Jr.; and stepfathers: Lindy Barton and Bill Martin. Graveside services were held 10:00am Monday, August 8, 2022, at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Rockwall, TX.
