We are deeply saddened by the news of Karen's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May she rest in peace!

We remember meeting Karen in our early 20's when we would all hang out at Bob & Donna's. Years later we had met up again when I worked with her at Sysco. She was a great friend and co-worker. She will be deeply missed.

I am shocked and saddened to hear about Karen's passing. I worked with Karen at Sysco and she was kind, considerate and so much fun to be around! I can see her smile and hear her infectious laugh as I type this and it brings me joy and heartache at the same time.

Honey, you were a beautiful soul and your time here was too short. I am blessed to have known you and you will be missed dearly.

To Karen's family and friends, I pray that God grants you the strength to endure this very difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Karen, beloved daughter and sister to Joes four other daughters, most beloved daughter to mother Barbara and her younger daughter, your sister Casey. It was always wonderful to visit you and Barbara, sister Casey and the menagerie of pets in that small basement apartment In your grandmothers home in Latham. It seemed like a miracle that you all fit into that small space but you somehow made it work. Grandma Trela made incredible Polish food (her pierogis were the best) and helped as much as she could while nudging Barbara along. Barbara found her voice and became a writer for the local newspaper. You and Casey grew into caring adults and as Barbara tried her best to piece together a working family and she did. You all did. You and Casey grew into caring adults and parents of your own children. Well done, you will always be remembered and beloved. Rest In Peace, Karen. You did well.
