Every hour that I had the pleasure of working with Karen was a blessing. First got to know Karen when Buzz and my youngest son, Jeff played summer baseball and little Lakers basketball together. Then worked with her when she was at the high school and then the board office. Had the pleasure of knowing the whole family in different ways. I guess God just needed another Angel and he got one. She was a big part of Laker Nation and was known by most everyone in Calloway County.

Karen was such a special neighbor and friend. The 12 years we lived next door to the Paul's were unforgettable. When you watch your children grow up together there are always special bonds between families. Amy and Eric both cherish the many memories they shared with Anne, Jenny and Buzz as well as with Karen and JP. Karen was a wonderful example of a loving wife and mother. Her ready, girlish smile and laugh were contagious. Our lives are richer because of the Paul family. May the wonderful memories you have wrap around you and comfort your aching hearts. Karen Paul will be missed by every person who was fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
Much love,
John and Janay

In Gods Word, Philippians 4:6 Paul says "The Lord is near, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition , with thanksgiving, present your requests to God". Oh Lord, fill the incredible hole in our hearts. Let us be reminded of what was lovely, what was pure, what was admirable of this gracious woman, let us think upon these things and restore us with your peace. Karen was a loving person, and she knew that many loved her, pray that we can all take solace in that. I plan to see you again someday, until then rest well our beloved. MEL

Dear Pauls, I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Karen. My heart is so heavy for your loss. I want to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your lives many years ago. Your family was always such a beautiful example of love, fun and warmth. I think everyone who ever knew you all as a family admired you and knew you all were a part of something unique and special. I will be keeping you all in prayer during this devastating time. For as much as I know it hurts right now, I know she will live on in each of you until you see her again. God bless you all.
