Karen H. Quimby

Karen H. Quirion 53 died early Saturday morning shortly after arrival to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville,Maine. She was born in Waterville, Maine the daughter of Bernard and Katherine Foss. She was educated in local schools and enjoyed her grandchildren in their activities, also doing yardwork at home, loved the ocean and camping. She especially enjoyed working for Marden's for several years in the stock room. She was predeceased by her parents and husband Paul Quirion. She is survived by her 2 daughters,Judy Sherman and husband Kirk and Jennifer Quimby all of Palermo,Maine; one son, Christopher Quimby of Albion; one brother, Stephen Foss of Canaan and a sister, Doreen Cassabona and husband Rick of Stow, Mass.also by 8 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be this evening from 7-9 P.M. at the Gallant Funeral Home 10 Elm Street Waterville, Maine with cremation to follow. a funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial of the cremains will be held later this spring at the Lewis Cemetery in Oakland, Maine.
