On February 4, 2013 Karen L. Scott, 63, of Rankin. Mother of Jonque' LaShawn Pettiford; daughter of William H. Young; sister of Rosalyn Y. Price, Toni Long, Jerrie Young-Lundy, and William Richard Young; a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. at Holy Temple Church Of God In Christ, Jones Avenue, N. Braddock, where the funeral service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. Interment Private. Services of comfort entrusted to WATTS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, INC.,808 Talbot Avenue, Braddock, PA (412-271-3880).

This has to be a very hard time for jonque and his family I would like to take the time to give my condolences n let you kno that u n ur family will b in my thoughts in prayers ... Ms. Karen was loved by alot of ppl n will truely b missed... n As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. She was my very best friend. We always went to Doo Wop concerts and Cruises.
