Karen was one of my best friends at Marshall High School. We were both in the band. I have so many wonderful memories of Karen. Win Schulers Taco Tuesdays (only time we could afford to go); Pizza Hut get together with friends; getting lost going to KZoo mall in my car; meeting at Lakeland mall in Battle Creek zillions of times.... Karen lived on a farm with Turkeys, learned a lot about their skittishness, who knew. I met her in Wisconsin while she and Todd were courting, they were head over heels in love. Lost touch with Karen after that, but have thought of her often, through the years. Rest In Peace my dearest friend! I will always remember our friendship

I am devastated to learn of Karen´s passing. We were good friends in school in Marshall, Michigan . We lost touch overtime, but I would still think about her. Those who became her Tennessee family were blessed to know Karen. I know she loved working with children. Todd, Rachel, and Brianna, my heart goes out to you for this significant loss in your life. I would also like to extend my condolences to the Kiessling family.

My heart is broken. Karen showed and shared unconditional love for everyone she came into contact with, regardless of age or station in life. Rachel and Brianna, I know you will honor your Mom as you carry her in your heart. Todd, God blessed you mightily. She has preceded you into God´s arms and there will be joy coming. I loved Karen and she was loved by all who came into contact with her. I will be praying for peace for you all.
