Karen J. Yoder, 62, of Goshen, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at home.
She was born Sept. 9, 1960, in Sturgis, Michigan, and spent her childhood in Wolcottville.
On Sept. 10, 1988, she married Daniel Yoder in Goshen.
He survives along with four children, Mandy (Cameron) Ralston, Warren, Garett (Macy) Yoder, Goshen, Kacey (Michael) Eash, Elkhart, and Danae Yoder, South Bend; two grandchildren, Bowen and Millie; her mother, Mary Schrock, Middlebury; and four siblings, Steve (Sonya) Schrock, Shipshewana, Char (Jim) Davis, Middlebury, Ron Schrock, Goshen and Clete (Rachel) Schrock, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cletus J. Schrock.
Karen was a member of Crystal Valley Missionary Church, Middlebury. She was a very spiritual and faithful person.
A registered nurse, Karen worked at Sarasota Memorial and Port Charlotte, Florida, and for 31 years at Elkhart General Hospital. She was an avid bike rider and enjoyed essential oils.
Visitation will be Friday, March 31, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. An 11 a.m. memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 1, at Crystal Valley Missionary Church, 233 U.S. Highway 20, Middlebury. Pastor Dave Rowland will officiate.
A private burial will take place at Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial donations may be given to Compassion International or CJD Foundation.
