Karin JOHNS

JOHNS _ Karin Karin Johns (nee Osterdal) of Black Diamond, passed away on November 2, 2003 at the High River Hospital at the age of 40 years. She is survived by her husband Jeff, sons, Braden and Carsen, and daughter Alina. Karin is also survived by her parents Frank and Minna; step-dad Bob; step-mom Karen; sister Janni (Ralph) and their family; and brother Robert (Deanna) and their family. Karin was born in Silkeborg, Denmark, coming to Canada in 1975. She loved being part of the community activities and functions, always willing to pitch in. She also had a special gift with children and enjoyed spending time with all her numerous friends. Karin worked at the Black Diamond Treasury Branch where she greatly enjoyed her co-workers and customers. A Celebration of Karin's life will be held at the Foothills Centennial Centre, 204 Community Way, Okotoks, on Friday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Henry Friesen officiating. Karin touched many people with her courage and dignity throughout her battle with cancer.
