So sorry I could make it to Karin's service. I live in
Tacoma now since Big John passed in 2015. Such fond memories of her and your whole family. Karin was certainly a light for Jesus everywhere she went.

I got to know Karen at Arlington Free Methodist in a Dinner for 6 small group ( she makes a mean lasagna- she said her kids loved the recipe). She had always reached out with kindness and friendship. The picture message below was her checking in on me- our son had the possibility of losing his eye at the time) More recently, I connected with her at the church women´s retreat which she led. I still had plans for many more coffee dates- my heart hurts for Phil and her family. It brought bittersweet joy at the service today hearing her daughters speak. Their voices and mannerisms sound just like her- what a beautiful family from a beautiful person.

I have wonderful memories of Karin and your whole family. She was such a positive person and I know will be very missed. All of you kids are a reflection of who she and your dad modeled.

I can't remember how long I've known Karen, but she was a joy to be around, I remember telling her I was up set and missing family around Thanksgiving, I told her that my girls had no cousins here and it was the same old thing with my husband family that only had adults around. Karen said well let's meet for breakfast before Thanksgiving and get the kids together,so that is what we did for quite a few years . I don't know if I ever told her how much that meant to me. I'm mad I didn't run over and see her as soon as she told me she was sick. I guess I didn't process how bad it was! I love all you guys, stringers , I'm so sorry you lost a beautiful, wonderful and funny mom, wife and grandma.my prayers are with you. JANA HELM

We would love to say how much Karen has meant to our family over the years. She was our daughter´s teacher and Jessica loved volunteering for her class each year. We loved her so much. How her and her dad have sent our daughter care packages to over seas. Also it ment so much to our family when her and her father showed up to support us when Jessica´s dad passed. We will miss her so much.

Karin was a very special person in my life. The best neighbor and friend I could have ever dreamed of. I loved it when she was excited to show me a new spot im her house or yard where she´d been "puttering". She told me stories about each of the meaningful items in her beautiful home. Karin lived and loved well. We had many special conversations about her love and admiration for Phil and each of her kids, their spouses, and her grandchildren. A couple years ago she gave an inspirational message at her church which I got to hear. Hearing her testimony caused me to admire her even more. I´m a better wife, mom, and friend because of Karin´s influence in my life. I loved you, Karin. I WILL see you again!

My husband and I met Karin and Phil 2 years ago. (Our son Kevin is engaged to Julie Anne). Ron and I instantly made a connection with Karin & Phil. Conversation flowed so easily for us. We were, and are so happy for the engaged couple. Karin and I bonded over the fact that we were pregnant with twins at the same time in 1996! She with Julie Anne & Brian, and me with Kevin & Marc. Karin instantly loved our son, and called him sweet Kevin. (I loved her for calling him that) I didn´t know Karin for a long time, but I knew I loved her because of her beautiful daughter Julie Anne, and the love she has for my son. Much love to the Stringer family. May the wonderful memories of Karin help you in this time of grief.
