Karina Diaz Obituary
Karina was born in Santa Maria on 12 August 1986. She graduated from Ernest Righetti High School and continued on to receive an associates degree from Allan Hancock College. Karina was a licensed cosmetologist working at salons in San Luis Obispo, Orcutt, and Pismo until a back injury ended her career. Karina had a huge heart for her family and friends and had many lifelong friendships. She loved swimming, camping, a good bar-b-que, and any opportunity to be surrounded by those she loved. Her greatest joy was being Mama to Stella. We will all miss her smile and warm embraces but are assured we will see her again in the presence of our Lord. She will be forever in our hearts.
Karina is survived by her parents Martin and Kathy Diaz, daughter Stella Diaz, sister Melissa (Joey) Wright, her nieces Madison Correa, and Presley Wright, great nephew Vincent Delgado, paternal grandmother Martha Patereau, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Pastor Conor Berry will officiate a celebration of her life on 31 March at 1:00 p.m., at Calvary Chapel Santa Maria, 2620 Santa Maria Way.

Karina always had the warmest, sweetest smile and her hugs could cure whatever´s plaguing you. Stella, Maddie and Pres, you girls were her everything. We will miss you Karina but I can´t wait for that amazing hug you´ll give me when I get to Heaven. Love you Kathy, Martin and Meliss, the best family anyone could be blessed with.
