Karl Staiger Obituary
STAIGER _ Karl August 9, 1927 January 1, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Staiger at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Now reunited with his best friend and wife of 49 years Tillie (March 2006), Karl will be remembered as a devoted husband and caring father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by sons Peter (Ruyun) of Vancouver and Michael (Manon) of Campbell River, grandsons Spencer, Cameron and Peter James and sister Inge Lorenz (Schriesheim, Germany). He was pre-deceased by his 18 year-old grandson William (March 2006), brothers Fritz and Rudolf, and sister Annemarie. A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, Vernon B.C., on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 1:00 PM.
