Katherine Alford Obituary
Mrs. Alford was born in Meridian, MS, attended Meridian public schools and Meridian Junior College. Mrs. Alford married George H. Alford Jr. on July 9, 1945, and subsequently relocated to Jackson, MS in 1946 where she lived the remainder of her life.
Mrs. Alford was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, the Joy Sunday School class, and Senior Adult Ministry. She was a long term member of the Amity, and Heritage Luncheon Clubs.
Survivors include a son Randal "Randy" P. Alford (Cheryl) of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren Reid W. Alford (Andrea) of Birmingham, AL and Lisa Alford Winter (Russell), one great grand child James Breckenridge "Breck" Winter of Flowery Branch, GA; and her sister Joyce P. Heath (Herman) of Meridian, MS.
Special thanks to Calvin and Eria Davis for all their support and friendship over the past years.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, MS.
