Katherine Beazley Obituary
Katherine loved gardening, friendship and bringing people together. The heart line Katherine shared with many friends and family will continue to connect those she loved. A garden tea celebrating Katherine's life will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Bellamere (1260 Gainsborough Road, London (519) 473-2273). Family and friends are invited to come together anytime between 11 am and 3 pm to laugh and share memories. Donations made in Katherine's memory may be made to the St. George's Public School library to purchase audio books for children at the school.

Auntie Katherine,
You were taken from us far too soon. We will always remember and honor your strength of heart, your warm and loving demeanor and your life lived with honesty and an infectious sense of whimsy and humor.
You gave us so much inspiration in your final time on this earth and we will always cherish the times when we were together. Thousands of miles were never an issue as your love was felt in every phone call, gift and email. We were so fortunate to be your first nieces and to have such an exemplary woman to call our aunt. We have wonderful memories and it was truly a blessing to have had an opportunity to hug and laugh and cry with you one last time this past summer.

We love you all so much and there are few words we can say that may ease your sadness. Auntie passed on her greatest qualities to you, Jenna and Aiden and her strength and light will never fade so long as you two remember that you carry her in your heart forever. We are here for you.

You were my little sister. We were close growing up - six years difference between us. I remember you learning to ice skate in the backyard when you were around five or six years old. You developed a love of figure skating and we would spend hours outside together. We grew apart as the years went by, but that doesn't mean I loved you any less. Please say hello to dad in Heaven.

It is with great sadness that I reflect on the passing of my friend and fellow gardener, Katherine Beazley ~ her talents and friendship will be much missed. Her gifts and lessons will be with us always. The time Katherine and I shared together is something I'll never forget; it leaves a hole in my heart. The memories I have will last a lifetime. Katherine was a lot of things to many people and will be missed tremendously. My condolences go out to John, Aiden, Jenna and her mother, Donna. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead and in your time of need. We hope you know we will always be there for you. Aiden and Jenna, as you grieve know that we are remembering and honoring the memory of your Mom. Katherine's spirit and soul live well in my heart, I have fond memories and wish her safe travels.

When I reflect on your home and the time I have spent there, I cannot help but think that you all got far more love, compassion, creativity, support and laughter from Katherine than most share with their mother and partner. Her time was too brief but it was enough to leave a very lasting imprint on all who knew her.

I was so saddened to learn of Katherine's passing. I worked with her at Gamma Dynacare for a number of years and then saw her at the Cancer Clinic when I started to work at LHSC. My hubby even remembers her, as he was a visitor to the Chemo suite while under going treatment for his lymphoma.
I alway remember Katherine as being such a gentle soul. I only wish her time here was a little longer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hello sis, I would like to say goodbye for one last time. As kids we did not get along, but as we grew up we grew closer together and I will miss you. You are leaving us all too soon and to say that this is unfair is an understatement. You have left your family in great hands as John is a great man and will continue to be a great dad.
I know that John has a great support group that will help him as he provides great love and support to Jenna and Aiden. As a kid you were never shy to talk to anyone as I witnessed one day on the TTC, but it served you well in life. I can see this in the vast array of friends that came to support you and continues to support you, John and the kids.
I will miss you, Kim will miss you, but most of all Evan will miss you as he is missing out on a fantastic Aunt. One of my disappointments is that Evan will not be able to spend more time with you. I know that when Evan came into our lives you were so happy for Kim and I, as we were. I could see every time that we were over how you loved to spend time with him.

John, Jenna and Aiden. It was with great sadness that we heard of Katherine's passing. We will ever be grateful for the part she had in taking care of Ashley in her first years. It was a joy to see her with her own children. Her and I shared a love of gardening and spoke the same language when it came to flowers. John and I tried to stop in this past Fall but you were out. We should have called first. Hold onto the memories that you have of an incredible human being. Her wisdom in life was far greater than her years.

Katherine, you had such a beautiful spirit, your connection to friends and family was inspiring and heartwarming. You were the most unassuming of teachers; one did well to call on you for thoughtful and trusted advice. Your connection to and love for nature will be fondly remembered. I will always remember Katherine's kindness to me when I started at the Cancer Centre back in 2000. We quite often would have lunch together or scoot out to Tim Horton's for a sandwich. She was a warm, gentle, loving, caring person and it is our loss. However, I'm glad she is free now to laugh and play like she used to. My most sincere condolences.
