Katherine Champoux Obituary
Preceded in death by her husband, Myron V. Champoux; parents, Harry D. and Elizabeth (nee Kneer) Barrows; one sister, Ella (Michael) Hrebec; and two brothers, Clarence and Eugene Barrows.
Survived by one sister, Wilma (Alwin) Taylor of Joliet; one brother, Richard Barrows of Joliet; one sister-in-law, Jean Barrows; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services for Katherine E. Champoux will be Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Village Nursing Home, 1314 Rowell Ave., Joliet. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation WEDNESDAY MORNING at Salem Village from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by:

Condolences to Katie's family. Both my Mom and Dad were in the same nursing home, so we got to know Katie, and her husband when he was living. She was a tough, but
caring person ... a very memorable woman.

I have known Katy for over 50 years. I was a friend of the Champoux's. I lived across the street from Myron's Parents. She was a wonderful lively women.
