Kitty was a beautiful soul and a perfect complement for cousin Michael. In our younger life we met often at Hayes family gathering. In later years we exchanged cards at holidays. We lost touch when we both moved to retirement communities. Michael we are so sorry for your loss. Willard and Chloe Myers

I mostly knew Kitty from the Little Switzerland
LadiesClub.
Kitty was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a beautiful smile and was a friend to everyone.
She will be missed. Carol Fink

Kitty was a great cousin, and she always shared the best recipes. I have a collection of them, and they are all keepers. She was always sharing caring, and loving. I was blessed to know her. My sympathies and love to the family.

Memories of Kitty are centered around Little Switzerland, food, family and the great outdoors. In my mind´s eye she is always smiling and I can hear her laugh. She is gone too soon. Heaven´s gain is our loss.

I worked with Kitty at West Forsyth and she was the sweetest lady you would ever meet. I worked in the library and if Kitty was working she would always come by and talk. I love her and will miss her sweet face and smile.
God be with you.

My wife and I had the fortune to visit with Kitty and Michael on a couple of occasions as we passed through Little Switzerland, North Carolina. Each visit was unannounced. Nothing would do except that we stayed for a meal. Her kindness, and that of her husband, did not go without notice. She was a kind person who thought a lot of others, was well respected within the Little Switzerland community, and she touched our heart with her kindness in a very special way. I know that she will be missed by her family and friends, but I know too that she has been set free from a terrible disease and is resting easy in the arms of our Lord. Thank God bless her family and friends and give them peace in this difficult time. Shelia and Dave Merritt, Chester, VA and Tifton, GA.

Kitty has been an important part of my life since I was born. Never judgemental, always supportive. We have so many Little Switzerland ferns transplanted here to Greensboro.

My most sincere condolences to all the family. God blesses us bringing angels into our lives, and He brought you mama Kitty. I´m so grateful to have known you and for receiving so much love and kindness from you since we met, so many beautiful memories are running through my mind as I type this message, and as you once said... "much water over the dam since then" I thank you for brightening our world, for making us feel as part of your family, but most of all...thank you for loving me. This is not a goodbye, but see you later, I'm sure you're already gardening the mountains of heaven. May our forever friendship and prayers ease you all in this very difficult time. I´m there with you all in spirit.
