Dear Hoops;
We had only know Katie and her mom, as we moved into the area, although they recently moved. I may have not known Katie long, but it didnt take long to know Katie was truly walking with heavenly father. Her faith was beaming, she lite up a room with her smile.

Dear Hoops Family,
My prayers are with you all...it is so hard to understand why God brings some of the most special people home so young. Katie was such a blessing to everyone who knew her.

To Bill and Diana and family- our heartfelt condolences and thoughts. It is so difficult to lose one so young and bright. I will remember her dressed in white as I often saw her at the temple. We hope you have found some peace in the gospel truths. Tom and Donna Howard

Dear Hoops family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Katie's passing. While she was much younger than me growing up, I did get to know her a little better about 10 years ago while living near her . She was a wonderful person and I'm sure that she only affected everyone else she met for the better. My prayers go out to you at this time.

Dear Hoops family,
Sending my love during this difficult time. Katie was always such a sweet girl with a gentle disposition. Someone else wrote that she was like a comfortable, cozy blanket and that fits her to a "t".
Bless you as you struggle through this difficult time.

Katie was a sweet soul that could light up a room by walking in. She was a joy to know. My thoughts are with your family.

Dear Hoops family, friends and all those that touched her life and the lives she touched as well.
It's never easy to lose a loved one at any age espically such a young age of 30.
While I was never close I had always seen her bright friendly personality in the halls of armstrong h.s. and around town. She was one person I could honestly say never had one bad bone in her body as well as her brother.
I will be praying that God with his mercifull love take her into heaven and make her a angel as she was down here, And give comfort and peace to all those that knew her or was touched by her.
She will be missed by all.
Sincerely,
Tim G. Horton

Our dear Katie-girl,
I am only sorry, our dear daughter, that we could not have spent more time together. We would have compared recipes, talked like we did, shared the funnies, & cried with the sad. Your sweet & angelic face will be missed, along with all that you brought to this world. I am so glad you and your dad grew closer with each day!
Oh honey, YOU WILL be missed!
I love you so much, Katie girl,
Denise

When ever I saw Katie, she was like a favorite sweater; something you wanted to wrap around yourself with warmth and love. Such a dear soul. Fantastic chef! A beautiful person who will be dearly missed. I wish I knew you more.

To the Hoops Family,
If my memory serves me right, I hired Katie at Redstone when she was just an intern, and Andy was a busser. She went on to be a sous chef if I'm not mistaken and her hard work and great attitude gave her that chance. I have lost touch with many Redstone folks, and I'm blown away to hear of Katie's passing. My heart goes out to you, her family.

We are thinking of the whole family and about Katie at this time. Many great thoughts come to mind when you think of her like her beaming smile and her giggle. She was such a special person and we are very sad to hear this news. We are comforted by thinking that she is in a happier place that must have needed another angel! Lots of Hugs!

Dearest Hoop Troop and family,
I just want to thank you all for bringing Katie to my life. From the minute we met we were Soul Sisters and best friends. I am grateful for her courage and her strength as a friend and for the light she brought to my life. We shared a lot in a few short years but I will treasure the memories made. And as always will treasure our friendship in the years to come. I love you all! Wish I could be there with you. You are in my prayers.
Hugs! Jewel

To the family of Katherine,
I go to Mizpah church with Don and Daphne Moore, I have asked about Katherine over the last couple of years and my heart aches for all of you. My family went on the Walk for Diabetes a couple of weeks ago in Stillwater and I was walking for Katie too.
May the love of God and family and friends help to ease your pain.
