MILLINGTON, Md. - Katherine Marie "Kitty" Maule of Millington, died on Aug. 13, 2011. at the Queen Anne's County Hospice House in Centreville. She was 78. Born in Leipsic, Del., on May 7, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Florence Willey Jones. She graduated high school and married William R. Maule Jr. of Millington. Mrs. Maule worked in the family Plumbing and Electrical Business as their bookkeeper for many years. She was Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Centreville Lodge #180 A.F.& A.M. She was also a member of the Calvary Asbury United Methodist Church in Sudlersville. Her husband Bill Maule predeceased her in March of 2011. She is survived by her sons, William R. Maule III of Chestertown and D. Wayne Maule of Millington; along with her grandchildren, Wm. Russell Maule IV, Melissa P. Maule, Sarah J. Blystone, David W. Maule, Jr. , Robert Maule II, and Eric S. Maule all of Millington; along with four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Robert "Robbie" Steven Maule; and her siblings, Margaret Hoffman, Ralph Jones, and Charlotte Porter. Funeral services will be held on Friday Aug. 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Asbury United Methodist Church in Sudlersville. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home 130 Speer Road Chestertown. Interment will be in Crumpton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice Center of Queen Anne's County 255 Comet Drive Centreville, MD 21617.
