Jocelyn, Megan, and David--My heart goes out to you all for the loss you have suffered, Mother and Wife. I held Katherine dear as a friend and will miss her joy-filled laughter and spirit when we were young and life was sweet and innocent. May you find solace in your memories of her as well.

Katherine, David and I traveled together in Peru three years ago. Katherine's laugh was contagious and her smile made the world a more beautiful place. My deepest sympathies are with David and Katherine's family.

Katherine and David were my two most wonderful surprises on my trip in April 2010 to Peru. David e-mailed me, today, about Katherine's death. I can't believe it. I only knew her for a couple weeks; I can't imagine what those are feeling who knew her all their lives. My sincerest sympathies to David and all Katherine's family.

Katherine loved to laugh. I had many "adventures" that would encourage me to tell. She was a great audience. I miss her.
