Nancy, Joe, Robbie and your families: I was very sad to go on your mom's Facebook page (in October) and figure out that she had passed away. I found the obit, and now I know it was in July. She and I were in touch until about ten years ago, and I just adored her. She was a wonderful friend since we worked together at Broome County Social Services. You may remember my staying with you "kids" when she traveled somewhere for a week. I have so many fun memories of our times together in Broome County and Canada. My husband and I visited her and Nick in NC twenty years ago, too. She played fiddle for us on her porch. What a loss! I send you my sympathy, and my hope that your happy memories will eventually bring you peace.
