LD Leon Carr
LD Carr, age 89, of Avon Park, FL passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2019. LD was born to parents Onis and Goldie (White) Carr on December 30, 1929 in Cullman County, AL. and had been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1969 from Arab, AL. LD was a man who’s hobby was work, constantly staying busy and making a career as an auto mechanic. LD will be greatly missed by his spouse Cynthia Fraizer-Avon Park, FL.; sons- Jamie (Jen) Carr, Port Charlotte, FL.; Jack (TJ) Carr, Englewood, FL.; Joe Carr and Jimmie Carr of Summit, AL.-brother-Kenneth, sisters Lillian and Fay-10 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren. LD was preceded by both parents -brother Bill and sisters Lena and Irene. Services will be held on Wednesday November 20th, 2019 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, 111 E. Circle Street, Avon Park, FL with the family receiving friends at 3:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. LD will be laid to rest in Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Holly Pond, AL.

To the family we are going to miss Uncle Leon but it is time for him to go be with the ones that has already went ahead of him .so we need to remember we had him in our life's for long time a made a big. Impact on alot of our lives I love you all
