Kathleen Donohoe Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 30 to Jul. 12, 2017.
Kathleen (Kerls) Donohoe died at Windrose in South Weymouth on June 28, 2017 at the age of 79. Kathleen's life focus was her family. She dearly loved her children: Theresa (Christopher) Burgess, Francis and Thomas Donohoe and grandchildren: Christopher and Alana Burgess, Joshua, Alicia, and Jack Donohoe. She was a devoted daughter of James and Margaret Kerls, loving sister to Nancy Thompson, James Kerls, Margaret Bateman and Mary Eastman and friend to so many. Kathleen was a role model, teaching us to be strong and independent through our fears. She was born in Cohoes, N.Y. and then moved with her family to Braintree, MA where she lived until the past few years. She graduated from Archbishop Williams High School and Framingham State College. She also received her Master's degree from Bridgewater State College. She was very proud of her career as a licensed dietician. She was called Kathleen by her family but known as Kathy to her friends. Kathleen's beautiful smile and laughter delighted us. She could make ordinary days special giving us many happy memories to cherish. Kathleen's loving and generous heart will be greatly missed. Kathleen loved God and was thankful for His gifts. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we celebrate Kathleen's new Life in eternal happiness. Arrangements by the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, a private funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, Kathleen would love for everyone to please remember to be kind to one another. Please sign our online guest book www.quealyandson.com.
