Kathleen Ford Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 16, 2025.
On December 20, 2024 our dear Kathy passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.

Kathy absolutely loved the outdoors, whether it was to hunt deer, fish, camp, boat, four-wheel or drive her motorcycle. Her adventurous spirit was only trumped by the kindness that was the hallmark of her being. Kathy especially loved to help elders and those in need.

She was devoted to her family, held a tenacious work ethic, and exemplified integrity in all aspects of her life. Her infectious laugh, endearing smile, and gentle disposition will be deeply missed - yet honored by all who had the privilege to know this extraordinary woman!

Kathy worked at Envalior (formerly DSM ENGINEERING) for 36 years. Many heartfelt thanks go out to her co-workers that helped her with the 12 hour shifts during her seven year fight with cancer. We asked her why don't you just retire, she wanted to go to work, she said it made her feel normal to be surrounded and supported by her coworkers. Special thanks to Kelly Heim her HR manager, she did everything she could to protect and support Kathy through Covid and her cancer journey.

Kathy's legacy will continue through her loved ones.
