Auntie Kaye, without you, the last 52 years of my life would have been very different. You welcomed me in and gave me a fresh start. Your love of camping led to meeting my husband and for that I will always be grateful. I will miss you. Give my mom a big hug please.

Condolences to the whole family. Kathy, Dylan and Mamet - I didn´t know Kaye as well as many of the folks here. But I´ll never forget her kindness for making me feel so welcome when you all included me in your family Thanksgiving feast at a difficult time for me.

We feel so lucky to have spent 40 plus years across the street from Kaye and the Borgesen family. Raising kids, in succession and being able to share generations of our families has been so special. Kaye was a rare person who could see a situation and address it without prejudice but with common sense. She welcomed all to the neighborhood and always made us laugh. She was no nonsense and her honesty was appreciated. She will be missed deeply by all.

Kaye was the first person to greet us when we moved in across the street. We had moved from California and had not adjusted to the neighborhood. Kaye helped us adjust with her warm personality and friendship. She was an active learner and went back to school to receive her GED. Dottie and Robin Drayer went with her when she became a United States Citizen. Lots of interactions with kids as families grew up and became professionals. We manage to keep in touch over the years by having dinner together when Newton was on their travel list. Kaye made sure of those dinners. Dottie was on her speed dial to keep in touch when traveling to Florida and Maine. Kaye will be missed, but remembered by all of us. Bill & Dottie

Uncle Steven, Cathy, Paulà and family,
I'm am so sorry to hear of Aunt Kay's passing. My condolences to you all.
I have a lot of fond memories of aunt Kay (as well as all of you) growing up.
Spending time camping on Long Lake are cherished memories. Family was everything thing to her. Kay always had a positive outlook and I loved her sense of humor. "It ain't Mae West, but it's my best!" She would say. Thank you for filling my summer vacations with great memories!

Hi Steve. So sorry to hear about Kaye. We go back a long time. Had a lot of laughs at Kilgariffs. Remember the time I made the pies at your cottage and the friggen pies leaked in the oven. That was a fun weekend. May she rest in peace. Love Marla & John.
