Dear Long Family,
I just heard the tragic news about Kathi, I was devestated. I worked with Kathi at Northwest Central and Schaumburg PD. She was one of my dearest friends. We spent many hours in the pool at your house with my daughter Victoria. Kathi will truly be missed. Today is Kathi's birthday and I will toast her tonight. I miss her.

Kath was very special to me. On slow work nights we would have long phone conversations. She was not a dispatcher for my dept but I certainly would liked to have had her. She was very professional and I am really going to miss her alot. God bless you Kathy....xoxo

I never got to meet Kathy in person but we did talk aot on phone and we did this winter i am so sorry and my heart and soul goes out to her and her family. Like i said i never meet her but boy do i wish i would have.

Kathy has left many great memories. She was a loyal friend and great hostess. She was a go-getter that got things done and motivated others. I also worked with Kathy on the other side of the police radio. Kathy had a strong work ethic. When Kathy was aswering 911 calls for help and giving vital information to her officers; we were in good hands. She took victim safety and officers' safety personally. Kathy was a true professional. My condolences to the Long family.

Dear Mr and Mrs Long, Judy and Michael = Kathy was one of my dearest friends; I have so many wonderful memories of Kathy vacationing, playing softball. I will never forget her; she holds such a special place in my heart. My favorite memory is when we went to visit a friend at Southern IL. We had such a wonderful time. I will miss her dearly. Lucy
