ROBERTSON, Kathleen (Kath). 1921-2008. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Robertson (nee Messenger), on Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Manoir Pierrefonds. Predeceased by her husband, George Braidwood Robertson. Cherished mother of Bruce, Gail (Stephen), Sharon (Armando), Karen (Ralph), Maureen (Michael) and predeceased by her daughter Beverley. Loving Nanny to Christopher, Jeffrey, Carla, Amanda, Kathryn, Stephanie, Daniel, David, Angela, Joanna and Philippe. Great Nanny to Atlin. She was a World War II Veteran serving in the RAPC (British Forces) from 1939 to 1945. A private service was held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at J.F. Wilson and Sons, 5784 Verdun Avenue, Verdun, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Our heartfelt thanks go to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Montreal General Hospital, the Lakeshore General Hospital and especially to nurses and staff at the Manoir Pierrefonds who have shown great compassion and love to our Mother and our family. She will forever live in our hearts.

Gail,

I was so sorry to read of the passing of your Mum. She actually passed away on the same day and month as my Mum did 18 years ago.

I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you and Steve and your family and to say that I hope all the wonderful memories you have of your Mum will be of comfort to you at this very difficult time.

Lesley
