Kathleen Lynnette Senty-Haugen

Kathleen "Kathy" Senty-Haugen, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2024. Born on December 13, 1946, Kathy brought joy and warmth to all who knew her throughout her remarkable life.

Kathy was known for her dedication and hard work during her career at American National Bank. Later, she worked part-time at Rainbow Foods before retiring. Her days were filled with simple joys-daily walks, time spent with friends and family, and the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kathy was deeply involved in the Lutheran church community, particularly at Eastside Community Lutheran Church, where she was a familiar and welcoming presence. She often arrived early to prepare coffee and snacks for after-service fellowship, embodying her generous spirit.

In her later years, Kathy moved to a senior community where she continued to spread kindness. She enjoyed making coffee in the mornings, celebrating holidays with neighbors in the community room, and playing UNO in the evenings. Her vibrant personality and caring nature made her a bright light in many lives.

Kathy is survived by her three sons: Arthur, Chantha, and David; her siblings: Carole, Linda, Mary, Tim, Dennis, and Steven; her grandchildren: Amanda Rose, Ali, Erin, Amber, Meiyong, Meipong, and Meisorn; and her great-grandchildren: Audrey, Evelyn, Ainsley, Anya, David, and Charlie. Various cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dale; her parents Leonard and Delores; her sister Diane; and her brother David.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Eastside Community Lutheran Church (1212 Earl Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55106). May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
