TEPSIC KATHLEEN (MAHONEY)
Age 66, of Sunny Isle Beach, FL, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 30, 2014, while visiting in Kansas City, KS. She was born September 18, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor Krizsak Mahoney of Burgettstown, PA. Mrs. Tepsic was the beloved wife of Rudy Tepsic for 39 years; cherished mother of Rudy (Kristin) Tepsic of Vancouver, WA, Alison Tepsic of Miami, FL and Chris Koren of Pittsburgh, PA; beloved grandmother to Ellie, Will and Braden Tepsic and Evan, Sofia and Jack Koren; sister of Richard (Nadine) Mahoney of Washington, PA, Charles (Debi) Mahoney of Burgettstown, PA, Joyce (Jim Granito) Mahoney of Baldwinsville, NY, and John (Mary) of Bradenton, FL. Many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins survive. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Rudy Tepsic; and her son-in-law, Josh James. She was a 1966 graduate of Burgettstown Area High School and a 1968 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a cardiac nurse at Mid-America Cardiology in Olathe, KS. Prior to retiring to Florida, she lived in Leawood, KS for 20 years where she left many dear friends. Mrs. Tepsic enjoyed traveling and reading, but especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. A wake and celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Airport Marriott, 777 Aten Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Friends of the family are welcome to share in this celebration of her life.
