We are deeply saddened to hear about Katy's going home to be with our Lord. We cherish our times together in Ruidoso and wonderful memories we shared. Katy and Walt were very gracious to us when we were flooded out of our home and after my accident. Katy made sure Walt and I followed our diabetic diet which included a delicious diabetic sweet she had lovingly prepared. May God comfort you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Just learned of Katy's passing -- so very, very sorry, Walt and family. Loved knowing Katy over the years -- hearing her sweet laugh and great faith. May God continue to strengthen Walt and family during this time of carrying on without her for now. Remember we'll all be reunited someday in heaven and can all enjoy being in God's presence together as a heavenly family. Love, Sandra Draughon

Sadded to learn of her passing. Although unable to attend, know that my heart goes out to all members of Katy's family. Had the pleasure of meeting Katy several times since 1985,when Cherie became a member of my family. Remembering joining Katy & Walter for dinner when traveling to TX and her pride of her homestate during the day, Katy & I "toured" the Harligen area. Our times together were limited, due to distance; it certainly has been a great pleasant to have known her. God Bless all of her family, know that my I am with you in spirit and mind. RIP Katy.
