One of the brightest lights ever to shine. Your warmth, support and kindness has had a positive impact on me throughout my life and not a day has passed since graduating in 1975 that you have not in some way crossed my mind. I feel blessed that our paths had crossed and my heart goes out to your loved ones and all those whose lives you have touched. You will be missed...

Very sad to hear this news. Ms. Bianchi coached my freshman volleyball team at Penn Hi. She was a great coach, and off the court, would joke around with us. We called her "legs" because her legs were so strong and muscular!

So sad to hear of her passing she was one of the best teachers at RHHS!

I'm so sad I didn't get to connect with her before she died. It's been many years since I saw her, but she was one of the most important figures of my early life. So happy to read that she made her own wine and have a loving partner.
Love to all who remain without her.

You will always be in our hearts and minds as a true, genuine friend. You were the consummate and professional educator. I will remember all the great times at work. But more than anything, my family will remember your kind, caring, and generous heart. With all our love, until we meet again.

Kathi,
My friend and mentor. I will miss you dearly. You taught me many things that changed my life from the day I met you. We have so many great memories together. You would be the first person I would call from the hospital if I got hurt racing on the weekends. Going to Vegas for the boys tournament, our texts before each season and so many more. The last time I saw Kathi was about three years ago when I brought my wife up to meet the fabulous women I talked so much about. Love You Kathi

Kathi, or more appropriately "Coach".....you touched so many lives. Your first year at RHHS was my freshman year. You were tough, encouraging, and always there for us. Even after my sister and I had graduated, you still reached out to my Mom when my Dad passed. The world has lost a fantastic human being. You were one of the teachers I wanted to emulate when I grew up. I hope I did you proud Run free, Coach..

Kathi and I coached Volleyball together for many years. She was responsible for my start as a coach when I was a Junior in High School, and I'm still coaching today. We worked closely together for almost 20 years. She was always respected and loved by all of the girls who played in the program. She had a great way of balancing hard work with fun. She always wanted the best for everyone she came in contact with. She will be dearly missed!

Didn't realize we were born the same year. No doubt we'll meet up at a great party in the universe before too long. Meanwhile, I plan on toasting your great smile and amazing strength!

Ms. Bianchi, as I knew her, taught me more than just to be a lifeguard. She taught me the value of standing up for what you believe in, fiercely but respectfully. She had a strong influence on me which made me a better human being and I am truly great full to have been her student. Her passing is a great loss. My condolences to her family.

I used to run into Kathy quite often in a store when I went to Salinas. Pretty soon, we would just laugh when we saw each other because we couldn't believe how often it would happen.
Love and prayers to all the family that supported her so lovingly.

Ms. Bianchi as I called her when I was here student in the 70s, and now called Kathi was one of a kind. Her good nature and sense of fun were only a couple of her wonderful characteristics that drew me to her guidance, leadership, teaching, coaching and friendship. As a student, she encouraged each of us always to try our best, work hard, practice and never give up. Great life lessons. My condolences to her entire family and friends. My heart breaks, but I also smile when remembering the adventures. God bless.

Ms. Bianchi was the coach of our volleyball program at Peninsula High School and I have so many good memories. She sure did like to make us run but I know it was all for us. She was tough but kind and I will always remember her well. She was one of the best teachers I ever had.

Kathi was one of the most courageous women I have ever known. We were colleagues in the Palos Verdes School district and Kathi was loved and admired by both the teaching staff and her students. Many tears have fallen since learning of her passing. She is one we will never forget. I enjoyed many happy times being in her company...her laughter, her energy, her intelligence and her loving ways towards her friends. At the end she was more concerned about those she was leaving behind, one being my dear friend Sharon Dezutti. Kathi has gifted us with her being in our world. Now the angels can rejoice that she is among them. Rest in peace our darling Kathi.
Will miss you Kathi. Joanna and Deinse
