Kathryn E. Cooperrider passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, one day before of her 88th birthday at the Village of St. Edward in Fairlawn.

She was born May 18, 1935 in Harts, WV to Archie and Goldie {Carter} Ramey. Kathryn worked in with the janitorial staff at Brunswick High School for many years, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed gardening, canning and freezing produce. She loved spending time with her grandchildren anytime she could. Kathryn also enjoyed crochetting and liquid embroidery.

Kathryn will be deeply missed by her daughters Vanessa Ward of Barberton, Debby (Paul) Muczynski of Wadsworth, Tammy (Pat) Brown of Wildwood, FL, and Laura Lanham of West Salem; grandchildren Angelique, Michael, Justin, and Monique; great-grandchildren Isaac, Hunter, Kyri, Kole, Rosalee, Danny, Leah, Josephine, Ariana, and Lucas.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her sisters Irene, Alice, and Wilma.

Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2pm with the service following at 2pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital at akronchildrens.org or Crossroads Hospice at crossroadshospice.com.
