Kathryn Gostyla Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 10, 2025.
Kathryn Ann Gostyla, born on September 13, 1951, in Presque Isle, Maine, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, in Meriden, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Elizabeth Michaud and the middle child of three siblings. Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, Joseph "Gus" Gostyla; her parents; and her brother.

Kathryn dedicated much of her professional life to the transportation industry before transitioning to a role with the Farm Services Bureau. Following her retirement, she continued to serve her community by volunteering for senior transport services, embodying a spirit of kindness and generosity that left a lasting impression on those she assisted.

She was a devoted Red Sox fan in a family of diehard Yankees supporters. Her love for the game was rivaled only by devotion to her family and friends. Those who knew Kathy will remember her kindness and generosity,

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Sally Celotto; her nephews Thomas Celotto and Matthew Celotto (Raechel) her great-niece, Kayla Celotto and her great-nephews Bohdi Celotto, Bryce Celotto, and Thomas Celotto III.

When you think of Kathy we hope you smile.
