A Memorial Service for Kathy Lynn Buffington, age 56, of Tahlequah, OK, will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at Reed Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK. Officiating will be Chaplin Kevin Webster. Honorary Pallbearers are Ryan Buffington, Harold Brooner, John Sukeena, and Isac Pedrick.

Kathy Lynn Buffington entered into life on June 8, 1956 in Berkeley, CA. She was the daughter of Glenn and Audrey (Arrias) Buffington. On Tuesday, February 26, 2013, after battling cancer for ten years, God called her home from this life to join her "Daddy" that she has missed for so long.

Kathy enjoyed life to the fullest and had 56 years of beauty, and joy. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, and especially loved dogs. Kathy was a truly remarkable lady that loved her family very much, and was very proud of her son and his family. She will be greatly missed by all that were blessed to know her.

She is preceded in death by her "Daddy" Glenn Buffington.

Those left to remember her legacy include her son Justin Sukeena of San Pedro, CA, one brother Daniel Buffington, three sister; Rachel Gonzalez, Ruth Ticolaut, and twin sister Carol Brooner, three nephews; Ryan Buffington, Isac Pedrick, and Daniel Peterson four nieces; Jamie Ellis Lehman, Joanna Slaydon, Nicole Luliak, and Brooke McQuiggan, as well as a host of friends and other loved ones.

Kathy had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She gave everyone around her strength even after she herself was fighting cancer. She loved her family dearly, and loved all of gods creatures especially her animals. She always saw the sunny side of life, and no matter what struggle life may have brought to her she met it with a smile. Kathy is was and will always remain a precious jewel. She loved music, and often told stories of her father playing the piano and singing. Kathy is now in heaven sitting with the ones she held dear who passed before her no doubt singing old hymns and shining her light down on those of us who will forever be touched by her loving spirit. Love you Kathy. You will forever be my San Antonio Rose.
