Kathy Keaton Obituary
Kathy Stimpson Keaton, 72, passed away Monday August 16, 2021 at the Hospice Home in Yadkinville. Kathy was born January 24, 1949 in Surry County to Bernard Ray Stimpson and June Webb Stimpson. She was a member of Boonville Baptist Church. She enjoyed yard work, sewing and painting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sara Stimpson and Jean Vestal. She is survived by her children, Heather Bunnell and husband, Shane Bunnell and Shane Keaton and wife, Tiffany Keaton; grandchildren, Cole and Brianna Bunnell and Kaden Keaton; sisters, Robin Shore and Suzanne Stimpson and Sam Keaton. A private service will be conducted at a later date. Memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200 Mount Airy, NC 27030. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Jennifer Quick, Erica Towler, Priscilla Leak and Telisha York for the loving care given to Kathy. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Keaton family.
