Kathy L. Kramer

STERLING – Kathy L. Kramer, 72 died unexpectedly Thursday November 25, 2021 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She was born on August 25, 1949 in Sterling the daughter of George and Margurete L. (Taylor) Musser. She married Luther Kramer on October 6, 1979 at Rock River Christian Center in Rock Falls. Kathy was a first grade teacher for Erie School District in Fenton for 25 years retiring in 2004. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Kathy loved studying the word of God and teaching adult Sunday school. She was an excellent cook and loved to decorate for the seasons. She loved to travel to the East Coast to visit her daughter; enjoyed being around lakes, streams and oceans; and loved to play cards with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Luther; one daughter, Hayley Elyse Smith of Sellersville, PA; one son, Hayden Anthony Kramer of Sterling; her brother Warren (Joanne) Musser of Morrison. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother George Edward Musser and two sisters Nancy Lee Newburgh and Mary Lou Goss. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 1, 2021 from 10-11 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene in Sterling. The funeral will follow at 11 AM with the Reverend Dennis Owens officiating. Burial will conclude at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Gideon Society.
