Kathy Mae Springer

Kathy Mae Springer, age 67, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on October 6, 1957, in Montgomery, Alabama, Kathy later moved to Anderson, South Carolina, where she spent much of her life.

Kathy was a dedicated student, attending Crescent High School in Starr, South Carolina, before pursuing further education at Everest University in Jacksonville, Florida. Her career was marked by diverse experiences, including work in textile mills, the insurance industry, and last at Proper Polymers in Anderson, South Carolina.

Kathy was known for her love of cooking, gardening and cherished time with her beloved grandchildren. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Springer and her loving daughter, Angela Howe. Kathy also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Ann Boyd and Mary Teel and her three adored grandchildren, Bryanna, Tyler and Haley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys Smith.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 2 p.m., at the home of Tom and Mary Teel. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and to share in the joy and love that Kathy brought to those around her.

Kathy Mae Springer's legacy of love, dedication and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
