Kathy L. Williams, 67, of La Crosse passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, February 13, 2023. She was born in La Crosse on August 25, 1955 to Kenneth and Virginia (Christie) Trehus.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Virginia and father-in-law, Bill. She is survived by her husband, Tom, sisters Nancy Trehus of Tucson, AZ., Vicki (Aron) Lemke of Inver Grove Heights, MN., and Wendy (Steve) Nielsen of Faribault, MN. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Marilyn of La Crosse, sister-in-law Barbara (Eric) Sorenson of Onalaska. Kathy is also survived by nephews Jamie and Ryan Lemke, Brian Kabat and Andrew Sorenson; nieces Laurie McMartin, Megan and Amy Sorenson. She worked at Gundersen Clinic for 42 years in the Dietary Department. Kathy belonged to the La Crosse Eagles Club Arie 1254 for 31 years and was president in 2001. She was an avid bowler and a Brewers fan. She and Tom went on many bus trips to the games. In her free time Kathy enjoyed doing latch hook kits and caring for her cats.
A memorial visitation will be held from 9 until 10 A.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the chapel at Oak Grove Cemetery, 1407 La Crosse St. La Crosse WI. 54601. The Eagles will provide a ceremony at 10:00. Burial will follow.
