Katie Miller Obituary
Katie was born and raised in Houma, LA. Although she lived in many places in her life time, she was a resident of Elizabethton, TN for the past 12 years, and lived with her husband Chuck for 34 years in Roswell, NM.
Katie found joy in reading, puzzles, cooking, baking and nature; including bird watching and the pet turtles she cared for in her yard in Roswell. She was big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, and LSU Tigers. She volunteered for over 15 years at St. Mary's Hospital and Casa Maria Nursing Home in Roswell, NM.
Katie's family, home and volunteer work were the passions in her life, and she took such pride in each of them. She cherished every moment she spent with any of her family, including her grand dog Heath, and she loved talking about them to others.
Katie was an amazing home maker, and had a way of making everyone who entered her home feel like family with her kindness and hospitality.
Katie was married for 57 years to Charles (Chuck ) Miller Jr. who proceeded her in death.
Katie is survived by:
Daughter Pam Meredith and Son-in-law Bufford
Son Chuck Miller and Daughter-in-law Celeste
Daughter Angie Miller
Grandchildren: Amy and husband Emmitt, Jake and wife Emily, Jarrod and wife Marissa, Adam and wife Appeya, Sara and Anna
10 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren
Brother Charles Hatch and many nieces and nephews.
She was loved by many and will be missed by them all.
Rest in peace Mom.... Until we meet again.
