Our beautiful girl is missed so very deeply. She took with her our joys of sharing her life in the future. She leaves such a big empty space in our hearts, I have such lovely days and nights of having her in our home growing up. The precious tea parties, reading books together, drawing working on art projects and cooking together. You were my running buddy, excited in every place I took you with all your questions about everything. How I loved keeping you and being with you. I took you on the train to Dallas and went to cow town your little eyes taking everything in. You were such a joy in my life. You were always willing to try anything new, never afraid.
I´ll never forget coming to your school to see you telling all the classes how you did your painting we entered at okc state fair. You were only 11 or 12 but our girl place over high school over the whole state. I don´t know who was crying the hardest. I feel like I´ve lost half of me. But my sweet I´ll be seeing you soon, look for me. I was alway so very proud of everything you did as your Auntie Rayna she almost didn´t get over losing both you and Shelia so close. She love you like you were her own child as she told everyone she was your mother.
You always held my heart.

Hello,
I just heard the tragic news of Katie's passing away. My heart is heavy and I want you to know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our deepest condolences.
Katie was our wedding photographer on October 21, 2023 in Newkirk, OK, and she did an amazing job. She made us smile, took beautiful photos, and made our big day far more beautiful than we had expected.
Our condolences again as you go through these incredibly hard times!
Best wishes,
Hatam & Audrey

Katie was born on my birthday so we were birthday buddies. That's what her dad, Mark, called us. I was proud to have my great niece sharing my birthday. She lived life to the fullest and was very inspiring to everyone who met her. You will be greatly missed.

Katie was the most beautiful soul, beautiful person and beautiful personality! I remember her smile most of all and how gobsmacked I was when I met her. Truly an inspiration and idol.

As a distant cousin I enjoyed following her work on the internet. A Girl on fire best describes her business. A passionate young woman! But a trail blazer in life! Almost every occasions we would always be amazed with her talents and inspiration she captured behind the lens. The Artist and soulfulness shined through effortlessly. Katie was always present in giving devotion to her family and friends. Amazingly Quick witted but with her infectious smile always loving her life persuading with charm, seeing the best in life. The chance her path crossed yours, Katie touched people that connected you so infectious and the facts are that she never met a stranger always opening her heart to everyone. Gritty but Graceful Katie Whitener! I know she will be remembered by so many people and missed by all who loved her even far away. Dancing in the sky bouncing off the stars and watching over all who carry her in their hearts. My condolences to Mark , Rhonda, Chance, Lindsey, Rayna, Carolyn Whitener.

The first day she was born, making me a Mama, and the time she became a big sister to your brother, Chance. She loved to take videos (reels) of us two together being silly and laughing. We loved listening and dancing to our favorite music. Watching her become the woman she was to be and fulfilling her purpose, warmed this mother´s heart and soul! Sharing her creativity will always be remembered!

The day she was born, and the day she became a big sister. She was always taking pictures of us two together being silly and laughing. Dancing to music gave us such joy and freed our soul! The times she spent with Lily, Sawyer and Mia!
