Katina Bostic Burney, 41 of Fayetteville, passed away, October 30, 2018, at her home, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Jerry and Irene Bostic. She is proceded in death by her father; infant brother, Jerry Lee; and beloved dogs, Flossie and Abby. She is survived by her husband, Donovan Burney, a son, Chase Burney; her mother, Irene Bostic; and nephews, Cheyenne, Cody, and Cameron. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Katina was one of a kind. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a special love for her dogs Bailey and Lucy who never left her side. She always looked at life with her glass half-full instead of half-empty. Her smile was infectious as well as her sense of humor. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her. The family would like to thank all who stood by her side and was always there for her. Words can't express their feelings of gratitude.
