Mrs. Katina Nicole Miller Williams FLORENCE - Memorial service for Mrs. Katina Nicole Miller Williams will be conducted 11AM on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at J.O. & Annette Smith Memorial Chapel, 307 S. Johns St., Florence directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC. Katina, the daughter of Robert and Vera M. Gainey Miller was born in Florence, SC on October 5, 1972. She died on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Katina was educated in the public schools of Florence County. She excelled in singing with the Gainey Singers, the Ebenezer Musical Mass Choir and her beloved Florence Community Choral until her health declined. Katina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frazier and Mary Gainey, one son, Charles H. Williams II and one aunt, Carolyn Gainey. Survivors include her husband, Charles Williams I; a special friend Rooda Nesmith; two sons, Charles Henry Williams III and Kam-Ron Tydre Williams; one brother, Andrew (Carla) Miller; five aunts, Martha (Rev. Edward) Burch, Linda Gainey, Barbara Friday, Altowease Gainey and Altolease Ratley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the home 317 S. Second St., Florence.
