Katlyn Marie Beck

Katlyn Marie Beck died on Wednesday, January 27, 2006 at her home following a lengthy battle with brain cancer. She was 27. Born on July 6, 1978 in Greeley Colorado, she lived there until the family relocated to Warrenton in 1993. She graduated from Fauquier High School in 1997. She is survived by a daughter, Breyana Beck, her mother, Lauren Beck-La Voy, and step-father, David La Voy, both of Warrenton. Also survived by a brother, Kevin Abbett of Linden, an aunt, Melinda Ratzlaff of Parker, CO, an uncle, Jim Beck of Olathe, CO and her paternal grandparents, Clyde and Roberta Abbett of Greeley, CO. Miss Beck was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Abbett, maternal grandmother, Dorothy Beck Kelly and maternal grandfather, James Beck. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 27 at 4 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton VA. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
