Kay De Von Adams passed away December 8, 2006 in Fontana, California, incident to heart failure and Parkinson disease, age 73.
Born March 25, 1933 to William D and Nettie Rhea Brady Adams in Orem, Utah on a small 10 acre fruit farm where he was raised with his eight brothers and one sister. He attended school in Orem at the Spencer grade school and the Lincoln High School.
Kay served his country by joining the national guard at age 17. His unit, the 145th Field Artillery Battalion of Utah, was activated during the Korean War.
Kay married Betty Lou Huffman in 1953 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They raised 5 children: Candy Sue Adams, Fort Smith, AR., Kay De Von Adams Jr., Fontana, CA., Deanna Robinson, Goodsonville, TN., Shaun Drew Adams, Fontana, CA., Mark Craig Adams, Philadelphia, PA. They have 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Betty died in 1990. Kay married Marolyn Irene Bigler in 1991 and they were later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Marolyn has been a loving, faithful companion and has given much care for Kay in his last years of illness.
Kay is a high priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served faithfully in various capacities, showing love and charity toward those he served and his fellow man.
Kay worked as a welder for many years for various companies in Utah and California including Kaiser Steel in Fontana.
He loved to work with honey bees, he had 5 colonies at his peak, harvesting the honey which he sold some and gave some away to friends and others in need.
A graveside service was held at the Green Acres Memorial Cemetery in Fontana, CA on Thursday, December 14, 2006.

To Marolyn and family
my heart goes out to you at this time. I am one of shelbys grandaughters and lynnes daughter. when my mother told me that uncle bun had passed I was sad I only got to meet him once at a family runion I remember my mother telling me how much he looked like her dad. It sad right now but I think of him up there with everyone getting to see his mom dad and brothers and I smile how wonderful that is. Take care and I love you all
