Kay Allen Obituary

Published by The News-Herald from Dec. 5 to Dec. 12, 2016.
Kay Allen (Morgillo) was born in Curwensville, PA on August 17, 1941. Moved to Ohio when she was young with her parents and older brother. Graduated from Eastlake North High school in 1959. Sadly after valiantly battling Pancreatic Cancer for less than a year, she passed away on December 3, 2016 at the age of 75.
Kay was always the life of the party, her personality drew people to her and was the "rock" to many in her family. She will most definitely be deeply missed, always remembered but never forgotten.
Kay is survived by her children, Denise Fisher, Tracey Kortich and Donald (Beth) Allen; grandchildren, Brandy Detling, Ashley Allen, Zack Allen, Bridgett Allen, Alicia Allen and Mitchel Allen; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Elmo "Moe" (Sherill) Morgillo; nieces, Holly Thompson and Cindy Pruzinsky
She was preceded in death by her parents, Quido "King" Morgillo and Wanda Morgillo (Pannacci).
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. also at the Monreal Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery.
