Kaye B. Schneider

Kaye B. Schneider, age 69, of Whitetail Road, Weedville, PA, died late Friday, September 24, 2021 at UPMC Montefiore after a lengthy illness. 
A daughter of the late Gerald and Elizabeth "Betty" (Lyon) Beck, she was born on May 24, 1952 in DuBois. On June 30, 1973 she married Leonard "Lenny" Schneider, who survives in Weedville.
Along with her husband, Kaye is survived by: two children, John (Christine) Schneider of Byrnedale and Jenny Schneider of New Brighton, PA; one granddaughter Allison; a brother, William "Bill" (Paula) Beck of Weedville; and three sisters, Marie Beck of Weedville, Elaine Johnson of Weedville and Rita (Paul) Goldsberry of Murphy, North Carolina.
Besides her parents, Kaye was predeceased by: a brother-in-law, Alfred Johnson.
Kaye worked as a Registered Nurse with DuBois and St. Marys Hospitals for more than 40 years, retiring in 2015.  Living all her life in Bennetts Valley, she was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church of Kersey and served many years with the Jay Township Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 5-8p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church of Kersey, with Father Ross Miceli.
