Kaylynn Mitchell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 21, 2010.
Kaylynn Wadley Mitchell, 36, of Spanish Fork, passed away at her home on Wednesday April 21, 2010. She was born in Provo, Utah, August 26, 1973 to Pamela Anita Morley and Harry Bruce Wadley. Kaylynn was the third child of four with 2 older sisters and a younger brother. Growing up in Orem, she attended Sharon Elementary and was awarded the Hope of America award in 6th grade. Kaylynn had many friends, and adventures abounded during her childhood. A true animal lover, she would bring home whatever stray that she came across but she had a preference for reptiles. Lizards, snakes and even a turtle or two seemed to have a home wherever she was. With her family she moved to Provo and attended Dixon Middle School and Provo High School. After high school, Kaylynn met and married Kevin Hughes Mitchell and they were blessed with two beautiful children, Railee and Tyler. They later divorced and he passed away in 2003. Kaylynn was loved by many and was a friend to everyone who had the privilege of making her acquaintance. Kaylynn is survived by her children: Railee Brianne and Tyler Dean; Good friend Michael Jex; Parents: Pamela and Gordon Johnson, and Harry and Gayle Wadley; Grandparents: Marjorie Anderson, Idaho, Col. Leonard Morley, Washington; Siblings: Marnell (Ric) Levett, Warwick, RI; Andrea (Matt) Urban, Santaquin, UT; Mark Wadley, Provo; Wendy Johnson, Springville; Amy Fullmer, Orem and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Kaylynn has joined her former husband, Kevin Hughes Mitchell, Grandparents Harold and Nell Wadley, Grandmother Chartley Morley, and Grandparents Bert and Nina Johnson as she continues her journey thru eternity. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 11 am at the Spanish Fork 2nd Ward building located at 98 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Salem City Cemetery, Salem, Utah. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to a Memorial Fund for the children that has been established at any Zions Bank, in Kaylynn’s name. Mom, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Child of God.
